BARS

Stainless Steel Underbar equipment really is the wave of the future. You know this if you work in a bar, own a bar, or have a client who does. Our bars are designed to last, and thus, we have worked to make them highly cleanable and sanitary spaces. We seal our units to the floor and the bar wall to prevent spillage underneath and behind. Wherever possible we create long, seamless and cleanable surfaces to prevent spillage.

Synagogues

These days, synagogues have a demand for two niche products, made of stainless steel. The first is charity boxes that are highly secure, with the flexibility that allows for congregants to give to their favorite charitable organizations, not just to the congregation itself.

The second is stainless steel coffee counters that are aesthetically pleasing, but also highly practical.

Charity Boxes

Our custom-built charity box are made entirely of #304 stainless steel, and they come with a door on a pivot hinge.

To guard against theft, the boxes have built-in security features like a ¼inch, tamper proof, stainless steel door, as well as heavy duty locks that are practically impossible to breach, because it's designed in a way that the bolt is inaccessible. There is also an option to add stainless steel guards on the locks for additional security.

You can chose the size of the charity box - from as little as 4 slots, to as many as 24. The slots have special channels which ensures that the coins reach the correct location.

The stainless steel box is easily cleanable and always shiny.

Coffee Counters

Our custom fab coffee counters are made of 304 #4 14 gauge stainless steel. They are fully customizable; you decide on the size, the placement of items like the sink and drip tray, whether you wan a cabinet base or legs etc.

Some of the features that are available:

  • Solid, ¾ inch back and side splashes with marine edges
  • Drip trough with perforated removable drip tray to catch spills and keep the surface clean. The tray underneath the drip trough is designed on an angle, so liquid doesn't collect there. There is a generous ¾ inch drain.
  • There is an option to custom build an undercounter fridge with a compressor, so it's built exactly to your specs.
  • The other option is to choose a ready-made premium brand undercounter refrigerator; these are available as wide as 90". We will make sure everything fits seamlessly.
  • Our cabinet doors are double sided stainless steel, which helps minimize the noise on opening and closing.
  • There is an option to install locks on the cabinet doors
  • Removable kickplates for easy cleaning and maintenance.
  • All coved corners.
  • 6 bin dispenser made of stainless steel.
  • Wall mounted cup dispensers.
  • Stand alone wall mounted coffee dispensers. You have the option to install a little tray underneath each dispenser to catch spills. These are fully removable, making them easy to clean and maintain.

OUR PROCESS

With 3 simple steps we make your vision a reality.

STEP 1

We encourage you to get in touch with us as early in the planning stages as possible. Our experienced engineers will guide you through the planning stages, answer all your technical questions, and help you optimize the space you have. The first step in our design process is using standard blocks to assemble a basic layout and elevation in CAD. Once the plans are complete, our estimators get to work. They carefully review the elevations, the floor plans, the specs & measurements, to come up with an accurate quote. It’s a measured process, and we don’t cut corners, as this is often where discrepancies crop up (for example architectural vs. elevations or vs the specs), and at this early stage, it’s an easy fix. If we come across inconsistencies, we contact the client, as often as it takes, in order to ensure that we’re all on the same page, and the quote is accurate. At a later stage, we ask the client to do a walkthrough of the physical space, to make sure the equipment can be physically transported where it needs to go. Do you need to add cooling elements? heating elements? electric control panels? Does your vision include quartz, granite, millwork? We work with the best in the business for a final product that is of the highest quality, without compromising on aesthetics.

STEP 2

After the client has carefully reviewed the specs of the quote, and they send the PO, our drafting department takes over. Not only do they have years of experience, they have at their disposal the latest in 3D drafting software(Solid Edge). This means that not only can we flesh out your equipment exactly as per the specs, we can drop in all the external food service equipment, so it’s one seamless drawing and you can clearly see if everything fits or if adjustments are necessary. During the approval process we review each project and make adjustments to streamline each piece by eliminating any extra cabinet sides and ensuring as few counter seams as possible.

STEP 3

When the client signs off on the shop drawings, there's usually no time to lose - it's time for production! Our state of the art self-loading laser machine cuts the item exactly according to the specs, and the product goes through a machine which files all corners so that no sharp edges remain, after which it is whisked through the bending, notching, and polishing machines, depending on what's needed. Although we have two levels of pricing to accommodate different sectors of the industry, the quality of every single product that our factory turns out is superb. Some of the things we do to ensure that this is the case:

  • We buy complete sheets of metal only, so we have full control over the sizing and thickness. When we tell you it’s 14 gauge, it’s exactly 14 gauge all over.
  • The tables all have round corners, rolled edges. Everything is fully welded, not spot welded. As a result, our products are a dream to keep clean, with no issues like flies, leakage, mold, or grease collecting in crevices.
  • The guys who do our polishing are highly trained, and use fine, precise tools, which means we don’t lose layers of metal by overpolishing. We polish to a number four finish, which is apparent in the quality of the end product.
  • When welding, we tape around it so the finish stays immaculate.
  • The holes for plumbing and electricity are cut with the laser machine, so there’s no need to cut holes in the equipment during installation.
  • The self loading feature on our laser machine means there is minimal tampering of the stainless steel.

STEP 4

It’s now time to ship the finished product(s). We wrap each item carefully with heavy duty plastic in order to protect the finish of your final product. We have partnered with logistics companies that are known to be reliable. Once we know when the order is due to arrive, we will communicate this information to the client, and track the order until it arrives at its final destination.

During the approval process we review each project and make adjustments to streamline each piece by eliminating any extra cabinet sides and ensuring as few counter seams as possible. Our utility walls simplify coordination and installation. Our extensive project management experience helps us ensure that every single part of the stainless steel piece of equipment is properly integrated. Our goal is to get connections right the first time. For layout work, we provide a galvanized template which is laid on the floor, spray paint is applied to create an outline and holes in the template allow penetration locations to be marked. You can see where a GC twice marked our bar wall in the wrong location. The marks in green from our template are exactly what will be fabricated. Once the rough-ins are approved we fabricate our base plate to match so there is no cutting on site. Walls fit precisely over floor penetrations and utility plates for water and drains are mounted vertically in the wall to ensure the rough-ins line up perfectly with the final connection points inside our bar cabinets. Once coring is completed, our die walls are delivered with stainless steel wall flashing, along with the curb bases for our cabinets. Walls and curb bases are leveled and screwed to the floor with a silicone bead underneath. Final flooring is run to the edge of the curb, ensuring there is no leakage under the bar. With curb bases leveled in advance and connection points assured by our vertical utility plates, the delivery process is simplified. Final cabinets are simply dropped onto the pre-level surface, with all drains and services precisely aligned with our rough-in plates.
